The Situation Date: Year 19 of Deragth's Reign Main Characters: Brokel, Nirvei, Calico Primary Goal(s): Escape the Eastern Capital Secondary Goal(s): Liberate the Old HerbalistScenario: Escaping the scene through the hole created in the metallic wall, the three fugitives miraculously survive through the chaos that was the laboratory. Despite going through injury and pain at this moment, the fugitives should be thankful to even be alive. Within the laboratory that they had left lay dead, even dismembered bodies of what had once been an angry mob. Yet there was no sign of the child robot that had caused the destruction... Eventually returning to the main tunnels, the quartet continue their move. After hours of endless walking, a light at the end of the tunnel can faintly be seen. Yet this journey was uneventful... A bit too uneventful. Had the decoy bots successfully deceived the scouting unit?Approaching the exit of the tunnel, the fugitives were free to give a sigh of relief as they strode into the bright light, their eyes possibly straining at the sight. Though just as they would believe that their escape was complete... There stood a final obstacle in their way... Before them, sitting on a rock situated atop the golden desert sands was none other than the enraged Captain, surrounded by his intimidating bodyguards. Going through this bunch was the only option... And what of the robot child that they had encountered in the laboratory? These were troubled times indeed... Character Actions Captain Stripe: Sitting in a relaxed position atop a grey, round rock, the Captain raised his lowered head to stare down his future opponents. A devilish smile formed on his face as he descended from his rock with a jump, creating a boom sound whilst landing. Maintaining his devilish grin, Stripe addressed his "visitors." "It is about time you arrived, my prisoners, I've been waiting for quite a long time."His smile grew as he spoke the words slowly and in a menacing manner. An eerie feeling would grow within anyone who heard the tone of his voice. Noticing the cat again, Stripe finally was able to put a finger on how he seemed so... familiar... "Ah, and Calico, how nice it is for you to join us... Don't worry about your brother Red... He's in good hands... But my my... What do these prisoners have to do with the Resistance?"Stripe's smile faded away at the thought, as it turned into a serious looking frown. He would await a response from the prisoners before proceeding with the execution.

"Great," Calico muttered. "I said pick door number three but nooooo, Sally's mind was made up with door number two!" Then he sighed. If he thought that he had jumped into the fire before, the look of Stripe's utterly pissed off face reminded him that he'd rather take on seven robot sentries any day. At least they blow up when they're hit hard enough! His guards looked none too pleased to be out here on the edge of a desert, sweating their hinds off, needing showers, wanting to call their moms, and some real food. And a lady or two.
"So," Calico began, an icy edge in his voice, " Who wants curiosity to kill them first?" Calico stepped into his fighting stance, and gave a reassuring nod to Brokel and Nirvei.
"I really want one of you to help," Calico said to them and them only. "Whichever one is less beat up." He glanced at Nirvei's bandaged arm. "I'm gonna guess..... Brokel."

Sally McSally pouted a little at the fact that Calico hadn't even acknowledged her, and that she had insisted on this route, against Calico's gut instinct. She rolled her shoulders loose and stepped into her stance as he had done, intent on helping in the fight.

Brokel nodded and stepped forward into a rather aggressive fighting stance that he had been working on. He took a quick breath, nodded to Calico, and focused on Stripe and his guard. The guards seemed to be roughly around Nirvei's level, though Stripe was more powerful than even Calico, who was the strongest of the quartet. The quartet of chaos, as Brokel had called this lovely band of fugitives.
"The bigger they are," Brokel began, "The harder it is to kick their butt! It'll be fun though." His eyes shone with the lust for battle again, and Brokel felt just an edge of the rush he had felt before in the lab.

Nirvei tensed when they emerged only to see Captain Stripe waiting for them. Why was it that everywhere they turned something was always waiting for them? It was times like this where she really wished she could go back to her old life back on Karas. Her family’s farm was peaceful, nobody bothered her unless her uncle was training her, and the only thing she ever needed to worry about was learning to fight and taking care of the farm. Those were the days...
‘I’ve really gotta stop doing that,’ Nirvei thought. Why did she always pick the worst times to let her mind wander? It was a bad habit of hers. Thinking about the past is nice and all, but not when you’re about to get ripped apart by some guy who hates your guts for no reason.
The girl looked down at her bandaged hand before moving her gaze up to Stripe and his men. It still hurt like hell, and specs of silver were visible on the bandages from where her blood had soaked through. Not being able to use both hands definitely put her at a disadvantage here. Maybe she could get away with just using her ki in this fight.
“Idr col pheitin pod yoruoso iyeb iyku inuj,” Nirvei said to Captain Stripe. From the tone of her voice, it sounded like she was taunting him. The Keretian looked over at Sally and noticed her preparing to fight. She hadn’t actually seen her in combat yet. “Hey. Are you going to be okay?” she whispered as she started gathering her ki for her Violet Circle attack.

The Situation Date: Year 19 of Deragth's Reign Main Characters: Brokel, Nirvei, Calico Primary Goal(s): Escape the Eastern Capital Secondary Goal(s): Liberate the Old HerbalistScenario: Somewhere within the giant deserts of Earth was occurring the prelude to a fight to the death. The tension between the two sides grew as the fugitives each assumed their own fighting stance, quite obviously worn out by battles that they had fought underneath. Ordered by Captain Stripe, the four guards that surrounded Captain Stripe begin their assault on Brokel, Nirvei and Sally with a dash, followed with an energetic, if not rash melee flurry. Calico's fur is swished backwards by the speed by which the Captain's bodyguards zoomed past him, for he now will face the wrath of the Captain by himself... Character Actions Captain Stripe: The Captain, who now stood in the center of his four bodyguards raised his muscular arm. As it reached the extent of its' potential height, Stripe froze for a few moments, still staring his opponents down menacingly. Flinching slightly at what Stripe deemed as an insult from the feminine alien due to her tone of voice, the Captain gave a quiet and barely noticeable growl, before beginning his short speech... "So... No words before death? It is your loss... Bodyguard Unit, go and dispose of these fugitives, but leave this cat to me..."In an instant, the Captain's Bodyguards zoomed past their leader as they proceeded on to attacking the cat's companions. Stripe himself remained in a regular standing position, as he awaited the first attack...

"So that's how it's gonna be," Calico said calmly. He might have seemed calm, but seeming and being are two different things. Calico figured that having that much muscle was bound to slow a man down, so at least Calico had speed on his side.
Hopefully. Captain Stripe wasn't infamous for nothing. Someone could be infamous for making bad coffee, but Stripe was infamous for other reasons. He was reputed to be invincible. Not immortal, per say, but strong enough to have no one stronger than him. And said infamous invincible Captain was staring Calico down, waiting for Calico to make the first move. Un-invincible Calico. Calico, Calico, what have you gotten yourself into.....
Steadying his wandering mind with a deep breath, Calico imbered up before taking what he saw as the first step out of the fire and into the lava.
"One word, Stripe," Calico growled. "Aftershave!" He charged at the menacing Captain, running with a left punch ready, which he would feign at the last second and follow up with a right kick.

Brokel, the only male of the three facing the guard, was naturally the one to get a pair of opponents. He had to admit that he was getting pretty good at crowd control though. He stepped back defensively just as the two approached him and began their assault.
"So they're prioritizing," Brokel thought as a foot passed by his face mere centimeters away. "Not bad." Brokel used his Ki Sight to full effect, watching to moves of both the enemy in his face and the enemy at his flank to dodge most of their combined attacks. It would be a losing battle though, if he kept just dodging. Their strikes began hitting more and more, as Brokel waited for just the right opportunity. It came not a moment too soon.
One well-timed duck and the bodyguards' fists met each other's faces. Taking the chance, Brokel gave them both a well-deserved uppercut, freeing up enough time to charge up some ki. He shot a few kikouhas at one's gut, and spun around into an elbow attack aimed at the other, trying to free up more space and time to use his more damaging moves.

Nirvei leapt away from the guard as he charged in her direction. She had successfully avoided his initial attack. Now it was her turn. “You want to play? Bring it on!” She wasn’t about to let her inability to use one of her arms stop her from having a bit of fun with the guard that came after her.
“Violet Circle!” she shouted. Her entire body began to glow purple from the ki she had gathered up. The glow lasted for less than a second before flowing away from her body and taking the form of six violet orbs that began to float in a circle around her waist. Each orb was a foot in diameter.
A smirk crossed Nirvei’s face as she pointed at the man. One of the orbs pulled itself away from the ring around her and zoomed in his direction. Whether it managed to hit its target or not, there would still be a decent sized explosion the moment it hit anything.

The Situation Date: Year 19 of Deragth's Reign Main Characters: Brokel, Nirvei, Calico Primary Goal(s): Escape the Eastern Capital Secondary Goal(s): Liberate the Old HerbalistScenario: The guard attending to Nirvei halted immediately after noticing the charging attack, staring her straight in the eye, daring her to fire her energy attacks. He got his wish as one of the six energy balls that had been charged was sent right at him. To Nirvei, it seemed that he merely stood still, but in truth, he had moved out of the way, now directly above her, taking comfort in the fact that Nirvei was most likely fooled by the After Image Trick. Plummeting downwards after canceling his Bukujutsu, the guard aimed to take the female alien from above, hopefully interrupting her threatening Ki attack, which he was now wary of after witnessing the resulting explosion behind him. On the other hand, the duo that was now confronting the Hybrid Saiyan remained on their toes as they struggled to keep up with the unnatural speed of their adversary. It seemed that their relentless flurry of attacks was preventing the Hybrid Saiyan from making a move, it was at this time that they became rather careless. Falling for the trick that Brokel had forced upon them, the two guards hit each other full strength in the face simultaneously, which staggered them for a few moments. Before they had time to criticize each other, they were both hit with a countering uppercut, which staggered both to an even greater extent. One held his chin as he stepped backwards, only to be met by a Kikou Ha to the chest, sending him plummeting to the ground slowly. The other had regained his balance after a short while, but lost it once again after being winded by an elbow to the chest. Gasping in pain, the guard fell onto one knee, struggling for breath. The other remained motionless on the ground for a few seconds, before forcing himself back up into an unsteady fighting stance, after grasping sand from off the ground in anger. In that stance he remained, waiting for the impending attack... Character Actions Captain Stripe: Remaining silent for a while, Stripe continued to wait for the first move. He could tell that the cat was hesitating, and was obviously intimidated by the Captain's reputation. This was the Captain's main battle strategy on all of his opponents... Intimidation. Finally, it seemed the cat gathered up the courage to attack, and did so, rather recklessly if Stripe would add. A smile crept up on Stripe's face as he realized that his intimidation was taking effect, forcing bad moves on his opponent's behalf. Refusing to move an inch, Stripe remained still through the duration of the entire attack, not flinching at the fake, and taking the kick full force to the left side of his neck. For a while, he just remained there, his smile slowly fading away. "Is that all, Calico? Show me more, please do..."

(OOC: Oops, I forgot about Sally McSally! She'll act in this one)
Alright, Calico figured that would happen. He jumped and flipped back, no emotion evident on his face. One thing Calico knew he had over Stripe was Stripe's confidence and ego.Confidnce and Ego could be easily exploited. He wondered if Stripe would just stand there for every move.
It was definitely something Calico considered as he charged up his Ki in his palms, preparing to throw a few shots of charged up Flak at Stripe. He then changed his mind and sent them off at him before they were charged, a rather impulsive move on his part, but a plan was hatching in Calico's head.

Sally kept retreating from the guard's melee onslaught, until he caught her in a headlock. She struggled for a while, eliciting a laugh from her attacker. In a flash of rage she kicked backwards at his groin and bit his arm, then sent kikouhas with her constrained hands at his thighs.

Brokel grabbed the guard on his knee in front of him, and with all the force he could muster he threw the gasping man at his other enemy. Not waiting to see if he hit the other, Brokel focused on building his Ki. Feeling the energy flowing around him, Brokel focused the Ki in his right hand, charging an Energy Wave that he would fire at one of the guards.

Nirvei watched as her attack flew at the guard. Something seemed off about it though. It exploded just like it was supposed to when it hit something, but there was something oddly familiar about the way the ball had hit her opponent. It was almost as if he had faded away instead of getting caught when the ball of ki blew up.
The girl suddenly smirked when it had dawned on her. No wonder it seemed familiar. Her uncle used to pull the After Image Technique on her during their sparring sessions back on Karas. It was a shame he never felt like teaching it to her. “Tch. You’ll have to do a lot better than that,” Nirvei chuckled. With that, she quickly took a few steps back and looked up at the man that was dropping down on top of her. Two more of the energy balls were sent up at him with a flick of her wrist.

The Situation Date: Year 19 of Deragth's Reign Main Characters: Brokel, Nirvei, Calico Primary Goal(s): Escape the Eastern Capital, Defeat the Captain Secondary Goal(s): Liberate the Old HerbalistScenario: Brokel would hardly notice the smile that suddenly formed on the guard's face as he sent him flying. It seemed that this move was all part of their plan. Several seconds passed as the guard continued to fly backwards, until he was mere inches away from his ally. As the flying guard covered up the stationary guard from vision, the two seemed to halt completely. No signs of movement whatsoever were visible. The Kikou Ha beam that was fired seemed to go straight through the two guards. Swiftly, the two guards re-appeared physically one of them crouching down to strike Brokel's legs, and the other directly in front, to take advantage of the dis balancing blow with a left uppercut to their opponent's chin. Immediately after fulfilling their assignments, they would both fire a fierce barrage of Kikou Ha attacks. Meanwhile, the single guard attending to Nirvei immediately put up his guard with two arms, realizing that he had been outwitted. Large explosions were created upon the balls' impact withe the guard's arms. Inhaling smoke, the guard coughed and coughed, his vision becoming exceptionally blurry. It would be the best choice to continue the attack... Finally, the last guard who was battling with... Sally McSally had seemed to had gained the advantage in the fight, that is, until the woman gave a debilitating blow to his groin, followed by several Kikou Has, which thoroughly burned through his black trousers and created burns on his bared thighs. Growling in anger, the guard conjured a red aura, before charging at the woman for yet another flurry of random attacks. Character Actions Captain Stripe: The disappointed frown still clear on the Captain's face, Stripe continued to remain in his standing position for the majority of the cat's assault. Flinching only a little bit at the Ki that had been fired at him, Stripe raised one arm as a precaution, but was surprised when it instead flew upwards. His attention was directed at the Ki Blast that had gone upwards, and it did not take a genius to understand that this was an obvious trick. Yet, Stripe allowed his pride to take control, and put down his arm, once again staring his opponent in the eye... Daring him to attack. Slowly, black outlines of Stripe began to materialize as they shot outwards. It seemed that Stripe was powering up... But for what?

The air around Calico grew restless as he continued charging the Ki spheres in his hands, one a thick chocolate brown, the other a creamy vanilla. The same color as his paws. His arms were stretched out, and it looked as if the spheres were too close even though his arms strained at full length. The fur on his arms tossed and cascaded energetically, dancing in the powerful forces that made their way from the core of his body out to his hands. Every physical part of Calico was straining to concentrate this power. Veins stood, muscles tensed, his lungs bellowed, and his heart raced in a fast, jittery kind of way.
He was already about two thirds of the way charged, forcing his Ki in those few seconds that Stripe wasted to soar, and it put Calico's body through a great deal of strain to do that. If it didn't work, Calico thought, he'd have one hell of a catnap.... a dirt catnap. And Stripe had the upper hand at the moment, and he wasn't just sitting there doing nothing either.
"HYAAAAHHH!!" Calico stepped up his focus, eyes boring in on his target, Stripe. He still had some time to go, until his attack was fully charged. Until then, he was open to Stripe.

Sally McSally had taken the few seconds of respite very gratefully, and she charged back at him, her own aura blazing with a cold yet furious blue. She expected the flurry, but timed her attack wrong. She had to ride with the first few punches and kicks to avoid an early defeat, and trust her, it hurt alot when the strikes even glanced. And glancing hits were at best. The hits of the punches she had to ride were already bruising. near the end of the flurry, Sally finally registered the pattern of this attack and sidestepped an upcoming punch, ramming her shoulder forcefully into his stomach, and decided to follow up from her crouched position with a jumping uppercut, that looked almost like she cheering when she jumped into the air. She landed gracefully, but she was breathing hard and sore all over from where his hits connected. She couldn't allow him that many hits again. She had to remember her training, the training that consumed the days of half her existence on this world, even though that existence wasn't too long. Sally wouldn't exist too much longer anyway, if she kept making mistakes like that.

Stars flashed through Brokel's vision as the guard's fist came into fierce contact with his chin, and his legs were taken out from behind and under him simultaneously, sending him into the ground hard and forcing the air out of his lungs with a wind-like whooshing sound. Half a breath later, Brokel rolled nimbly backwards to his feet.
Just in time to see the first of two barrages of kikouhas headed his way. He threw up his arms and braced himself for the first one, which couldn't bur int way entirely through his block, but singed his forearms nicely. He immediately knew that he couldn't take the other hits head on, and spun out of the way of the next one, followed by a close, hot game of limbo with a third blast. The next few he managed to scrape by, losing bits of clothing and getting more burns all over. Then, a kikouha seemingly out of nowhere took his legs out from under him and sent him into a short tumbling fall to the ground. It took three quarters of a breath this time to get to his feet.
He'd only seen that vanishing act once before, about a year ago. It was an unofficial-yet-sort-of-official Tenkaichi match, between the old champion and who became the new one: Cifer. He wondered briefly how the old dog was doing, and if he'd found a good challenge. Cifer had been one of his merc buddies, a really noble kind of person who really loved a great fight.
The move was called an afterimage. Cifer had promised to teach him once, after demonstrating how useful it was. That had never happened, although it really would've helped if he could too.
But he knew a good weak point about it. Brokel had advantages that made the playing field level, on a one-to-one basis. He could see where they were by their Ki, and when the afterimage was used defensively, he was very able to counter it. He still had his unnatural speed. But he'd have to step it up.
Oh, how he loved a good fight. Smiling and licking blood from the corner of his mouth, Brokel took a deep, steadying breath and stepped forward in his fighting stance, closing his eyes. He felt their Kis very clearly, and imprinted them.
Now he could tell where both were, even if he couldn't see them. Brokel broke into a complicated zig-zag, and feigned an attack on the guard who delivered the uppercut, swinging a kick at the ankle of the guard who had tripped him. He nicknamed them Uppy and Trippy, as he followed up the kick with a chop aimed at Trippy's neck
